ABOUT YOUR RIDE
Your Ride is run by me, Martin Beck. I'm a 45 year old big kid who is happiest whilst on his bike or teaching others to ride.

My love of cycling came along by chance 25 years ago. The first time I rode a borrowed mountain bike along a Tramway with two lads I'd only met the day before, following them off the side of an old disused viaduct, down a steep embankment and hanging my bum as far back as I could so I didn't go over the handlebars - I was hooked!

Since that moment I've never looked back. Cycling became my life, my passion, and I feel that I'm a better person because of cycling and I owe so much to my two-wheeled friend.
Cycling as a career has taken me around the world and in 2009 I decided to start my own coaching and guiding business. If I'm not teaching on a road junction, then you'll find me in the woods coaching, and if i'm not there, I'll be at a dirt jump spot or skate park instructing all ages and abilities.
After 25 years I feel as passionate about the sport as I did that very first day and I think that's because I don't just ride or teach one area of cycling; I ride and teach multiple disciplines, from road to the skate park.
